Angélica is a theologian and holds a master’s degree in religious science from the Methodist University of São Paulo (UMESP). She completed academic exchanges in contextual theology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (the Netherlands, 2018) and in interfaith dialogue and combating poverty at Henry Martyn Institute in Hyderabad (India, 2018). She has been a researcher at Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research since 2020. She also works as course coordinator at the Ecumenical Centre of Evangelical Services and Popular Education and is a staff writer at CartaCapital magazine for the column Faith in Dialogue.
