The Thought and Practice of an Emancipatory Politics for Africa

Ernest Wamba-dia-Wamba Bazunini (1942-2020) was a Congolese intellectual and revolutionary whose life was devoted to thinking of a popular emancipatory politics in both theory and practice. He was insistent that no emancipatory political project could see the light of day in the absence of a popular democratic movement. This dialogue is based on interviews conducted with Wamba in May 2019 and embodies some of the most important ideas he left to us.
